Summer Conditioning

Runners are encouraged to run throughout the summer in order to build on their previous training. Runners can meet a few times each week for group runs. Contact the coach for more information.

Pre-Season Camp

Before the fall cross country season begins, runners may attend cross country camp. Contact the coach for more information.

Fall Cross Country

The first official day of practice is normally the first week of August and lasts until the state meet, which is about the first weekend in November. Check with the Clarkston High School Athletic Office for the exact days and times. In order to participate, you must have a physical dated on or after April 15 of the current school year. Indoor Track

After the fall cross country season, runners not participating in another sport have the option of participating in indoor track. Indoor track consists of a few practices each week, with meets held at area colleges. Indoor track begins about the end of November and lasts until the beginning of March. Spring Track

Track and field’s first practice is at the beginning of March and lasts until the state meet, which is about the first weekend in June. Check with the Clarkston High School Athletic Office for the exact days and times. Contact the coach for more information.
